Garth House enjoys popular puppet show

The residents of Garth House were treated to a performance with a difference this week as they welcomed members of the Crossways Community Baptist Church in Dorking, who put on a popular puppet show.

The ancient form of theatre, which dates back to the 5th Century, proved it still has a place in modern entertainment as the residents enjoyed an energetic performance at the Surrey home before having a chance to meet the stars of the show.

Located on the western slopes of Tower Hill, just to the south of Dorking, Garth House is a period home that has been sympathetically converted to provide exceptional nursing and dementia care for up to 40 elderly people.
