“Flowers in our Garden” Photography Competition at Hulcott

Hulcott held a photography competition this week, the theme being “Flowers in our Garden”.

This competition has become an annual event at Hulcott and residents look forward to trying their skills at photography.

This year the entries were all of a very high standard, making it very difficult to judge, but after lots of deliberation, we are delighted to announce that First Prize for this year has gone to Jean. Her work was a picture of a single rose and she was proud as punch to be presented with a bottle of wine.

Margaret Smart, the Manager said:

“I am very impressed with the standard of the photographs and have complimented all of the residents who took part. They all look forward to this competition”

The residents were asked if their photographs could be displayed in the home for everyone to enjoy and of course, they all agreed as they were all very proud of their work.

Hulcott now has beautiful photographs adorning their walls which the residents all get to see as well as our team, friends, families as well as other visitors to our home.

Pictured, Jean Scott (Resident) and Jane Olliffe (Administrator) who presented the bottle of wine.
