Ferfoot celebrate The Queen’s 90th

On Tuesday 14th June residents, family, friends and staff at Ferfoot care home in Chippenham joined together to celebrate The Queen’s 90th birthday – and what a party it was!

Everyone dressed patriotically in red, white and blue and enjoyed an afternoon of tea with prosecco, Pimm’s and a delicious selection of sandwiches and cupcakes prepared by Ferfoot’s chef. Members of the local church also attended to join in the celebrations and local entertainer, Bob had everyone up and dancing later in the afternoon.

“This was a fantastic afternoon, enjoyed by all involved” said Nicki Stone, Home Manager; “We all loved raising a toast to The Queen and our chef prepared some wonderful food. We have an open door policy at Ferfoot whereby relatives are welcome to visit loved ones at any time that suits them. It was great to see so many relatives turn up for the day and join the celebrations. Unfortunately we had to move the party inside later in the afternoon due to the usual British weather, but this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.”
