Ferfoot Care Home hosts ‘Hug a Hero’ day

To celebrate National Hug Day last Tuesday (21st January) staff and residents of Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham hosted a predictably popular ‘Hug A Hero’ event, inviting local firefighters to visit the beautiful Wiltshire-stone home for a big hug. The visit from the local servicemen brought back some stirring memories for one resident in particular, with Jo Baker having served in the Wiltshire Fire Brigade for over 20 years.

Situated on Old Hardenhuish Lane, Ferfoot provides residential dementia care for up to 52 elderly people.
