Easter Celebrations at Oaken Holt

With spring taking a while to show this year, the residents and staff at Oaken Holt in Farmoor decided to inject some Easter colour into the grand Victorian care home.

An ‘Easter tree’ was created to represent all things Spring, with the colourful production taking pride of place in the residents lounge. Many of the residents also took part in creating traditional Easter bonnets, with decorative flowers, chicks, eggs and feathers contributing to the fun of the day. The residents and staff then donned the colourful creations as the hats were judged, with a prize awarded for ‘Best in Show.’

Set within 23 acres of beautiful gardens and parklands in the heart of Oxfordshire, Oaken Holt is a magnificent country estate offering residential and nursing care of the very highest standard for up to 55 ladies and gentlemen.
