Denise is shortlisted as Registered Nurse of the Year

Home of Compassion Deputy Manager Denise McMillan was shortlisted for a top award at the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards.With more than 5,500 employees across the group Denise beat off stiff competition to be a shortlisted finalist in the Registered Nurse of the Year category.The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony hosted at the Grove Hotel in Watford and presented by musician and singer Ronan Keating.Home of Compassion, in Thames Ditton, Surrey, is dedicated to providing the highest level of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 71 elderly residents. The luxurious care home is set in delightful surroundings with beautiful gardens and views over the river.Following a review of over 3,000 nominations received from colleagues and people supported for the awards, Denise was shortlisted as Registered Nurse of the Year.
The judges shared the views of one nomination which stated; “Denise continually demonstrates outstanding outcomes for residents and staff. She has outstanding leadership skills which are shown on a day to day basis.
