Cranmer Court support Macmillan

On Saturday 17th September Cranmer Court in Warlingham, held a charity afternoon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The week leading up to the event involved lots of fun-filled preparations, residents enjoyed arts and crafts sessions where they decorated paper teacups, saucers, a tea pot and cakes to create an eye-catching feature wall, which was the subject of many lovely comments on the day.

About thirty residents and family members attended; they brought cakes to share and enjoyed lots of tea, coffee and a glass of Pimm’s or two!

There was also a “Bring and Buy” sale and we held a raffle with prizes including a Waitrose cake, a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. The afternoon was a great success we raised £323 for a very worthy cause.

Thank you to everyone that supported us!
