Celebrating Dignity Action Day at The Pines

19th March 2015

The staff team at The Pines take pride in the dignity with which they treat their residents, so Dignity Action Day was a great excuse to show the residents just how much they mean to them.

They held a ‘Digni-tea’ event and invited all of the residents and their families to come for tea and cake, before working together to create their own ‘Digni-tree’, on which they all hung handwritten messages about what dignity means to them.

Finally, the team arranged a raffle and a ‘Guess the name of the Teddy Bear’ competition to raise funds for the Residents’ fund.

Located in vibrant Putney, The Pines provides residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly residents.
