Brooklyn take part in Macmillan's Christmas Jumper Day

Staff at Brooklyn House were doing their bit for the Christmas knit on the 18^th December in aid of Macmillan cancer support to help raise awareness for the charity. This was part of ITV's Text Santa appeal which was this year raising money for Macmillan , Make a Wish UK and Save the Children."Not only did it get the care team and residents in the Christmas spirit, residents enjoyed seeing so many colours which made them smile”, remarked Activities coordinator Catrina Harrison.So this was not only a great activity at Brooklyn to engage with the residents but also raising money for a good cause.
