Brooklyn Host Successful Wine and Cheese Event

Residents, relatives, members of the public and the care team enjoyed a cheese and wine event at Brooklyn House this week.Everyone tucked into a range of cheeses from around the world and a tipple of wine or refreshments while they had a good chat before the evenings Great British quiz.Teams tested their general knowledge and went back for more helpings, they commented the evening had been great fun and look forward to doing it again soon.One of the relatives commented on how much he enjoyed it and would love to do something like this every week as it was a great way to spend time with his mum which they both really enjoyed!The daughter of a former resident also came along and thoroughly enjoyed joining in. 'We are a family at Brooklyn; the care team, residents and relatives, and it is great to welcome people back, our doors are always open' said Kathryn, Home Manager.We look forward to holding more events like this for everyone to enjoy!
