Brian gains online experience at Bradbury House thanks to County Council funding

Bradbury House resident Brian Fuller has been getting to grips with his new Kindle Fire this week, thanks to funding received from Essex County Council.

The council has recently provided funding for free IT lessons for the over 60’s and Brian has been pleased to be able to take full advantage. Friends from his local golf club kindly bought him a new Kindle Fire and last week, an IT specialist provided by the council came to give Brian some tuition on how to use it.

Brian has now set up his own e-mail account making it much easier for him to communicate with his friends, along with ordering new books for his Kindle. Brian has a great love for English literature and he said ‘this is wonderful, all my favourite books are at the tip of my fingers’.

Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
