Brand New Jubilee Tea Room at Standon Hall

Following a summer of celebration for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Standon Hall recently launched their brand new Jubilee inspired tea room in the Nursing home.

The tea room offers a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks for both residents of the home and visitors to enjoy as and when they wish, with contributions welcomed via the donation box in the home.

The feedback has been excellent from residents and visitors alike, with the tea room providing a welcoming environment for visitors who want to spend some private time with their family members in a home from home environment.

There have already been a number of social afternoons held in the room with residents from The Beeches, the neighbouring purpose-built Dementia care home, joining in as well.

Standon Hall is a magnificent manor house, which has been sympathetically converted to provide residential care in the form of fine country living for up to 22 elderly ladies and gentlemen of distinction. Within the grounds of the Hall is The Beeches, purpose built home providing specialist dementia care for up to 21 elderly residents.
