Best of British for Betty’s 102nd birthday

St. George’s day was a lively affair at Mill House this year, with the residents enjoying not only a special themed supper, but also a big birthday celebration at the Cotswold home.

The dining room was awash with red, white and blue for the occasion as the Chef prepared a traditional English tea of sandwiches and cakes. Along with St.George, the residents also toasted Betty Shipley, who was celebrating her 102nd birthday. Popular singer Ruby Lamont provided the entertainment on a day that was enjoyed by staff and residents alike.

Located at the heart of the delightful market town of Chipping Campden, Mill House is a purpose-built care home providing residential and specialist nursing care for up to 45 elderly people.
