‘Apple day’ at Oak Manor

It is said that ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ and Dereham-based Oak Manor care home held a special event recently, paying tribute to the popular fruit.

During ‘Apple Day’ the residents and staff wore green outfits and enjoyed live music performed by Activities Coordinator, Billy. The residents also took part in a session of ‘apple art’ and afterwards enjoyed some apple themed dishes made by the home’s Chef.

Located in the village of Scarning, Oak Manor is a care home providing dementia care for up to 61 elderly people.
