Abbeycrest residents meet some new furry friends

The residents of Abbeycrest care home have been making the most of the glorious weather recently, with their most recent trip to the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary in Wallingford.

They got to see and stroke many of the 100+ donkeys at the sanctuary, a registered charity that cares for and protects abused and ill-treated donkeys and other animals.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common at the heart of the Chilterns, Abbeycrest is one of Caring Homes’ newest care homes in Berkshire, offering exceptional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.
