A Bit of Comic Relief at Abbeycrest

For Michelle McDonnell and Nadia Santos, the Abbeycrest Activities Coordinators, March proved a busy month as they organised a host of fundraising activities at the Sonning Common home in aid of Comic Relief.

The day itself saw staff and residents involved in face painting, a sweepstake and a popular homemade cake sale. All of the staff at the purpose built home paid £1 to wear red for the day, in keeping with the charity’s theme.

The lively duo led the way as Michelle was sponsored to dress up as clown for the day, whilst Nadia was sponsored to dye her hair red!
In total the home managed to raise £240.00 for Comic Relief, which supports thousands of worthwhile causes in the UK and across Africa.
