Strathview provides residential care for up to 24 elderly people in a modern purpose-built home with a real ‘home from home’ atmosphere. Ideally situated close to the shops and amenities of Auchtermuchty, Strathview’s location also affords wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.
This small, friendly care & retirement home in Fife has developed an excellent reputation for care and has really become established at the heart of the local community. Strathview is arranged over a single floor for ease of access and benefits from the highest standard of décor and furnishings throughout. Our dedicated staff team work closely with residents, their families and loved ones, to ensure that each person’s care needs are understood and met. Just as importantly, our Activities Coordinator takes the time to learn about each person’s life history, working with that individual to ensure they are able to live as active a life as they wish.
The home offers a full range of residential care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Strathview operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Strathview’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and has ISO 9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.
