Although I have put "Good" for most of the options below there have been times when some have dropped below that but equally sometimes things have been excellent. Individual members of staff in particular have been outstanding and to see so many at Dad's funeral and that they were genuinely upset at his passing, not just representing the Home, was very touching. He had very much become part of the community.

Review relates to February 2016
I am a qualified nurse with 18 years’ experience in the National Health Service (NHS) and private care homes, as well as in the teaching sector. I have also completed graduate and post-graduate training in nursing, a Registers Managers award and Leadership in Dementia qualification.
I started my career as an Assistant Lecturer in India in 1997 before joining the NHS in the UK as a Junior Sister for the Care of the elderly on an acute medical ward. I then joined a BUPA nursing home as Deputy Manager before becoming Home Manager for a nursing home in Guildford.
I served as a General Manager across three care homes in 2008, including one residential and two nursing homes; in this capacity, I was a finalist in the Registered Manager category of the 2014 Great British Care Awards for the South East Region.
I currently live in Guildford with my daughter and am enjoying my new role as the manager of Coppice Lea Care Home. I am and always have been very passionate about my job, and will work with staff and residents to achieve the best for our home from the ability and personal skills that I bring to Coppice Lea.
