Life in a Caring Home is viewed as a continuum of life – an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new things – whilst maintaining your existing hobbies and interests.
At every Caring Home, there is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who is on hand to support residents in learning new hobbies and maintaining existing ones.
An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.

"Beechwood Park has been my aunt's main residence for a number of years. My 87 year old uncle would come nightly to visit my aunt but if he didn't turn up they would alert the police and they would go and check on him. When he became ill last year and was hospitalised for 6 weeks it became apparent that he could no longer look after himself at home. There was only one place we wanted him to be and that was Beechwood... carehomes.co.uk" - Liz McGoldrick
