Beechwood Park is a modern, purpose-built home, providing specialist nursing and dementia care for up to 61 elderly people. Located on Main Street in New Sauchie, Alloa, Beechwood Park is ideally placed for easy accessibility.

Laid out over two-floors, Beechwood Park’s interior is light and airy with all bedrooms and the extensive communal areas decorated and maintained to a high standard. The home’s dedicated Activities Coordinator works with each of our residents and their families and loved ones to ensure that residents are able to take an active and meaningful role in daily life. When the weather is fine residents are able to take advantage of the large enclosed garden and patio areas.

Beechwood Park’s interior has been designed to meet the individual care needs of our residents, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation. Beechwood Park is ideally equipped to provide nursing support for elderly people living with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and Korsacoff’s syndrome. However, staff never lose sight of the fact that, first and foremost, Beechwood Park is home to our residents.

The home offers a full range of nursing and dementia care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Beechwood Park operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Beechwood Park’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and has ISO9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

Life in a Caring Home is viewed as a continuum of life – an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new things – whilst maintaining your existing hobbies and interests.

At every Caring Home, there is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who is on hand to support residents in learning new hobbies and maintaining existing ones.

An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.
